Say Cheese :)

Carter and I went to Glamour Shots today.(We bought a $50 gift certificate on ebay for $5.) Dad was suppose to go but he got called unexpectedly. We had such a fun time. Carter did some christmas pictures and him and I did a few together. They turned out so good. I wish they weren't so darn expensive. I did buy one collage of us, but even that was more than I ever wanted to spend. I was so sad when I left that I couldn't buy all of them. I can't wait til we get the opportunity for all three of us to get our pictures done together. I think we'll do that for his 1 year pictures. Above is a proof they emailed me when I got home. Below I also scanned the black and white print out they give you when you leave, so that's why they are so hard to see, sorry :( The last set are the collages they put together for me, and I would have died to have one but they wanted over $500 for one!!!! Isn't that just CRAZY?! So we settled for a smaller collage for less, but not much :)

NEW TEETH AND NO SLEEP

Carter is working very hard to grow some new teeth in that mouth of his. #F (that's the top front tooth on the left) has broke through and #E is so close it's only a matter of days. Needless to say, sleep is hard to come by for him. He never naps much anyway, but he has a hard time sleeping all the way through the night now.

I'm so jealous of Preston's 3 hour naps twice a day :P I'd love for Carter to sleep for an hour a day without being held or driven around. Oh well, maybe someday :)

Here is a picture with Carter and his Daddy. Dad is working with him to learn how to walk.

What a mom says in a day.

I found this on Kim Collins blog, and it was too good not to post on my own. ENJOY!!

LOT O CARTER

Brush Brush Brush

Carter got his first tooth brush today! Yes we have been brushing since before he got teeth, but I've been using a finger brush to do it. So now he gets his chance to brush, then mommy checks to make sure he did a good job ;) Brushing our teeth is part of our bedtime routine that we are slowly mastering. First we get a bath, then we read a story, then we nurse, next we brush brush brush, then it's off to bed. That's where things get a little hairy. But we are slowly getting better at it everyday. It's hard work for a little guy to fall asleep all by himself.
Oh yeah, and try explaining Day Light Savings Time to an 8 month old. HA! I guess we will slowly get back to our regular bed time and wake up time, but boy will it take some time. All thanks to the government's brain child way to save energy :)

JUST CALL ME CRAZY!!!

So last summer I put my halloween decorations out at the end of August. Most who saw it just chalked it up to me being pregnant and little crazy. Well this year it was at least October before I put them out.....sounds like I'm not so crazy right? Wrong! I decided that instead of packing the halloween stuff up and putting it back in the attic on top of the christmas decorations, only to dig it back out in a month so that we can get to the christmas stuff out, we would just save ourselves a trip, and get out the christmas decorations. YEP that's right, it's Novemeber 4th and my house is decorated for christmas. The only thing we don't have up is the tree, and that's only because we haven't decided where we want to put it. Once that decision is made, it will be up too! I guess it's a good thing I don't have any thanksgiving decorations or they may have been out a month before halloween :)
