Good times, Sunshine, and Summertime :)

We've been enjoying our summer lately. Clayton and I got to go to 2 Springfield Cardinal games last week. Thursday night, Carter stayed with one of our neighbors, and Friday night he went with us. We had seats down in the lower boxes, but we decided that since there was more room, and no one was sitting there, to take advantage of the handicap seats at the top of the concourse. Carter was able to stand up and walk around in front of us, without getting in the way of other people sitting near by. He also liked hanging from the railing :) There were lots of people there that Clayton works with so we had tons of fun catching up with everyone.

We've also been spending a lot of time in Rolla. Clayton has been working up there and staying at his parent's house, so Carter and I have been going up to visit. It's nice to get away for a little while, but I still miss being home when I'm up there. While we were up there this weekend, we went to Cooper's first birthday party. It was at lion's club park...it did rain, but it was under a pavillion so it wasn't too bad :) I forgot my camera, but Jenn is suppose to email me some pictures, so I'll post them when she does that.

What a Crazy Beautiful kinda Life!

Hey everyone! We're all moved in and finally have internet again! I've got most of the upstairs unpacked and in order. The basement is another story. We need to build some shelves in the storage room so we can start sorting through the boxes down there. It kinda looks like a tornado went through down there, which is why I try not to go down there! :) I will try to get some pics or a video on here of the house soon.
Hopefully the pool and hot tub will be up and running soon...I don't have a tub in my bathroom and I am really missing my soakings. There is still lots to do, and none of it is getting done while I'm sitting here typing...so toodles!

Onions anyone?

My child is definitely his father's son...cause he certainly doesn't get this from me. Clayton has a vegetable garden out back....I'm not allowed in it, I kill all living things, it's a wonder I can keep myself and my child alive. Anyhow, the other day he pulled up some onions and brought them inside...Carter reached up for one so Clayton let him have it....Well Carter loved it. He at about 3 of them, and now anytime he sees one he has to have it. Weird. I know. Who ever heard of a one year old that will eat onions? I was 20 before I could even stomach one on my burger.
